All the children placed for adoption by us are unique and have their own needs and individual characters.
Children awaiting adoption are usually living with foster carers and are unable to live with their birth family. They may have experienced abuse or neglect and have additional needs or uncertainties about their future development – but they are children first who need stable secure loving families who will support them throughout their childhood and beyond to reach their potential.
It is anticipated that for the coming year our local authorities will require 150 adoptive placements for their children – as an adoption@heart adopter you will be considered for these children whilst your assessment is taking place so that we are able to place our children at the earliest opportunity.
As such you will be in a privileged position of being considered for matches with children from our partner local authorities before any wider searches of adopters from other agencies begin.
